The issue of Israel, and with it the issue of Arab Islamofascism which is opposed to Israel and which desparately seeks its destruction, is the most divisive issue in Irish politics.
I believe that there is no question that it is the number one issue. In many ways it even surpasses in importance in Ireland of the Irish national issue. In fact there is a great interplay between the two.
Protestant people in the North of Ireland feel themselves under threat from the right-wing nationalism of the Provos. In all its forms, whether through direct war methods, including terrorism, or through the “path to peace”also called the “Good Friday Agreement”, which is war by another name, the Provos and the Provo mentality in Ireland say “We must have it all”.
In Ireland these Irish issues usually express themselves in intensity that is very far removed from the maniacal Islamofascism which motivates the Arab and Islamist hatred of Israel. But the parallels are there.
What is happening at a psychological level, as well as directly political, is that the issues surrounding Israel are chiming in with actual existing political issues in Ireland. I suspect that this is happening in other countries as well and may be forming a pattern. It may be one explanation of a phenomenon that has been causing great difficulty for the Jewish nation in Israel. Why should this be so?
The answer is deceptively simple.
Jewish nationalism (the correct name for this is Zionism) is the oldest national struggle in the world. Jews can trace their national liberation struggle back literally many thousands of years.
A CRUDE FORM OF JEALOUSY PERHAPS?
That lineage brings us back to a time when Ireland could only boast of a few scattered groups of neolithic farmers who were only after sup[planting a few bands of hunter gatherers, worrying more about mussels on the shore than about national liberation. So it is possible that a crude form of jealousy lies at the heart of Provo hostility to Israel.
The continual attacks on Israel since the state was set up in 1948 (the immediate 1948-49 War, the 1956 attacks from Syria, the 1967 War led by Nasser, the 1973 cowardly attack and war, and then on ito our own time – the brutal Intifadas and the Islamofascist suicide murderers) all ring many bells inside Irish politics.
Really it is no accident that in general the Protestants and “Unionists” of the North of Ireland are lined up with Israel against the Islamofascists, Jew-haters and Liars of the so-called “Palestinians”.
And of course it is no accident either that the Provo mentality which runs through the nationalist movement in Ireland (We must have it all…The 4 Green Fields etc) leads them, the Provos, inexorably into support for the Islamofascists of the “Palestinians”.
Of course, they have always tried to hide the fact that the Palestinian Movement, as it has come to be known since 1967, is motivated by a Fascist Jew-hatred. The coming to power of Hamas, the Palestinian Branch of the Muslim Brotherhood (a distinctly fascist and pro-Nazi organization) through the votes of the majority of these “Palestinians” has shown exactly the Fascist nature of their movement.
A STINKING CESSPOOL OF JEW HATRED
The whole situation in the Middle East is a stinking cess-pool of Jew Hatred, or to give it the correct name, anti-Semitism.
That is what the discredited Irish proto-nationalists in the Provos and other republican groups has latched on to.
There is a direct line (in relationships) between the Irish Provo Movement, and more loosely the Irish nationalist movement, and Palestinian Terrorism. It is very well known that the Provos (and possibly the Official IRA as well) sent their “Volunteers” out to share terrorist knowledge, and in turn to be trained by them, in the 1970s.
The rotten lie is that the “Palestinian” Movement is dressed up as a national liberation movement.
But the Arabs already have 22 states in the area. And those states exist on a total area of land which is all of 500 times (!) greater than Israel.
Furthermore these 22 states contain one state which is already made up of, it is widely acknowledged, 70% of these so-called “Palestinians”, and who have the ability to overthrow the Jordanian Government, take power and after driving out the Jews from Israel proper, create one unified Caliphate.
A COVER FOR GENOCIDE OF THE JEWS IS BEING DELIBERATELY HIDDEN IN IRELAND
So this “Palestinian” state which has been all the news for the past 20 years is really a cover for ending the Jewish state in the Middle East.
All of this side of things is being hidden by many people in Ireland. There are many groups involved in this. They are almost too numerous to list but here are a few.
As we stated already, probably the main prop for this outrage is the Provo Movement of the IRA and of Sinn Fein. But the Irish Provos are not the most active in promoting Israel hatred. In the recent Israeli hate-fest in Limerick City Martin McGuinness (The Provo Number 2 after Adams) attended as a speaker on the platform. But he did not organise the event, he only lent his support, which was bad enough, but the event was organised from the Left, by the neo-Left Palestine Solidarity Group, supported by Indymedia Ireland (an anarchist group)
Standing alongside the Provos (as we see in the Limerick Hate-fest) at all times is the Irish Left, which is better to describe with the title neo-Left, since they have moved so far from true socialist principles. Do not forget that George Galloway of the Respect Party has become part of the Islamofascist Movement. And where Galloway has gone all of the neo-Left has followed behind. They are consumed by their hatred of Israel.
Meanwhile, the Church in Ireland, which has in its long history laid down many anti-Semitic traces, is fairly passive on the issue in the present time. In fact the present Pope Benedict takes if anything a possible pro-Jewish line and a definite anti-Islamofascist line, all couched in Vatican language of course.
No, the assault on Israel, which is as we will see an assault which amounts to anti-Semitism, is definitely controlled and led by the Republican Provo Movement, and even more by neo-Left renegades from socialism.
In Part 2 I am going to examine the politics of a leading member of the Provo Movement in Ireland and I shall examine this Israel hatred which is so prevalent in Ireland.
